So, what is Monkey Butler?

Monkey Butler is an improv comedy group that exists to encourage people to have fun, mess around, challenge themselves, and connect with others.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a pro. And don’t feel like you have to be a comedy genius. Some of us choose to perform occasional shows, but others just come to the workshops for the fun of it.

Who’s it for?

Anyone. People come to MB for all kinds of reasons but there’s one thing we all have in common: we love having fun and don’t take ourselves too seriously.

What goes on?

A typical workshop usually includes a mix of the following:

- Improv games
- Icebreakers
- Scene work

Oh, and we then usually stay behind and grab a pint in the bar downstairs.

When and where does it happen?

Monkey Butler meets weekly upstairs in the Palin Room at the University Arms, typically on Monday or Tuesday nights at 8pm.

To make sure you’re always in loop, subscribe to the weekly email.
